Dave has been a board member for over twenty years across primary school, secondary school, early childhood and health services. He has been a board chair, and deputy chair.  In addition to this, his dissertation topic as part of his Master of Business Administration was "Effective governance in the NGO sector".  He has provided training on behalf of the New Zealand School Board Association and been a Limited Statutory Manager for a primary school with responsibilities for communication and employment.
